If there is one year we could call a watershed for Jazz in Goa, it certainly is 2008, which is full of great music , great artistes from all over the world and fabulous camaraderie….. and this was the year that marked a paradigm shift in people’s perception to what is jazz. This genre encompasses such a wide variety of music, and it amazing that a lot of people still think that it is a cacophony of disjointed sound, which is designed to bore all other than the diehards. How untrue, and 2008 proved this untruth beyond doubt to the fun and music loving people of  Goa.
